I do not have a  useful past exam to post- so let me offer some good advice.

Look back over the readings and your class notes. Look at the paper topics and discussion topics posted on Moodle pages.

Make a useful list of key terms and ideas and be able to apply them effectively and precisely.

Know in general the characters and events of our readings and be ready to use specific examples to support claims or arguments you make. Your task is to show that you have read carefully and thoroughly, that you have listened and retained, and that you have done consequential thinking on appropriates and texts and questions.

I expect to post the exam on Moodle about 1:00 on Tuesday and will need it emailed to me as an attachment by 5:00 on Tuesday. You may start when you choose, but you will need to finish by 5:00. If you need extra time, start no later than 2:00.

you may use your books and notes- as long as they are yours. Don't let the ability to use those resources limit your study and preparation. Since you can use texts and notes, more thoughtful answers will be expected.

If you have any specific questions, please email me in time.
