Taking one or two, or even three (or even four with Milton), of our recent readings, in a paper of three to five pages explore the way the selected work(s) present a hidden truth, with what consequences and with what challenges in communicating that truth.  Can Truth and Lie coincide?

Or Explore how the traveler /persona(s) is changed by that experience

Or Examine ways in which nature, or the unnatural, is given agency and action. Can nature be both Infernal and Redemptive?

Or Consider how a world of darkness and despair can offer hope and think about how the underlying irony affects that hope.

Or make sense of the mysterious (and sometimes banal) power of women- or the female.

Or , What is it that saves Marlowe and costs Kurtz his life?

Or, In a world of travels and perspectives, what constitutes stability and home?

Or, make sense of multiple perspectives and maybe madness or powerfully divergent insights.
