Labs
Lab is an important component of this course, and you must pass the lab in order to pass the course. You will work in a lab group that depends upon your active participation and on your showing up on time. Because of social distancing requirements, each student will be assigned a specific role: experimenter, computer operator, or data collector. Duties will rotate from week to week. Each group will prepare a single lab report with equal contributions from all members. Additional information will be distributed during your lab section meeting.
Students will not be admitted to any lab more than fifteen minutes late and extended absences are not permitted. You'll get instructions at the start of each lab. There are no makeup labs and any unexcused absence will result in loss of credit for that week. If you know of some serious conflict in advance, discuss with me the possibility of attending another section.
Finally, food and drinks are not permitted in the lab.
