Weekly Reflection Papers

DESCRIBE your experience objectively. Each weekly report should be 1-2 pages, professionally prepared. (Professionally prepared means that spelling, grammar, and format are important.) You should not try to use EVERY reflection writing prompt for every paper. You should select the prompts that seem appropriate to you and related to your experiences each week.

Please describe your work as an Intern.

·         What happens?

·         When does it happen?

·         Where does it happen?

·         Who is there?

EXAMINE your experience per the reflection prompts below:

·         What personal strengths/weaknesses/assumptions emerged as a result of your work this week?

·         How can these weekly experiences inform my future goals? A potential career?

·         What is the interest of the common good in this internship experience?

·         In what ways is the individual good (mine or that of other people) linked to and/or contrary to the common good?

Academic Enhancement

·         Identify specific academic material related to your internship that you now understand better or that you know realize you still need to learn or become proficient in as a result of your experiences this week.
