Journal # 1

For this journal, you will write minimum 450 words (12 point font, double-spaced) to describe what life will be like for you when you are 75. You will include at least the following:

1. Talk about who will be in your life, where you will live, what your health will be like, what kinds of things will you like to do. Be as specific and thorough as possible.

2. How your early life experiences make you believe that our life at 75 would be like the above

3. Include an image to illustrate yourself at age 75. It doesn’t have to be an image of yourself. You can use an image that is publicly available (make sure you cite it properly), or you can take a picture of someone and use it with his or her approval. The image needs to reflect what you describe your life will look like at age 75.

Grading rubric:

· Clearly address the prompt – 3 points

· Use life course perspective to explain why – 1 points

· Include an image to illustrate yourself at age 75 – 0.5 point

· Few grammatical errors and meet the word count requirement—0.5 point
